The Alchemist found their home!!

Well this has been a long time coming. Beth and I have become the new stewards of a parcel on Back Bone Place in Nevada City that will be the home of Shady Brook Alchemist, a regenerative hop and medicinal herb farm on the San Juan Ridge, located right above Makaloff Diggins State Park. Thank you Amber Buchanan.. the journey continues!

It’s our goal to utilize the gifts this land has and through restorative practices heal it from the legacy of the gold rush days. It is simply beautiful and we hope you all will come along the journey, walk the land and connect with the soil as you look up at the canopy of the universe.
